Minuscule 851 (in the Gregory-Aland numbering), ε408 (von Soden),[1][2] is a 14th-century Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on parchment.
[3][4] The text is divided according to the κεφαλαια (chapters), whose numbers are given at the margin, and their τιτλοι (titles) at the top of the pages.
[5] It contains the tables of the κεφαλαια (tables of contents) before each Gospel, lectionary markings at the margin, incipits, pictures, and verses to John.
The Synaxarion and Menologion – liturgical books – were added in the 16th century.
