Miroslav (Znojmo District)

Miroslav (German: Mißlitz) is a town in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The highest point is located on the slopes of the hill Kadavá hora at 360 m (1,180 ft) above sea level.

Seven discontinuous areas on the hills south of the town form the Miroslavské kopce National Nature Monument.

In 1533, during the rule of the noble family Valecký of Mírov (between 1497 and 1569), the village was promoted to a market town.

[3] The I/53 road from Znojmo to Pohořelice runs through the southern part of the municipal territory.
