[2] According to the interview given by the contest president, Nawat Itsaragrisil, in August 2022, the host country for Miss Grand International 2025 was already decided but could not be revealed at the moment due to a contractual agreement.
[3][4][5] However, on November 18, 2024, the Miss Grand International organization announced on their social media accounts that Thailand would host the pageant for the second consecutive year.
[6] As of 15 February 2025, four delegates have been confirmed: one won the crown as a supplemental award in a multiple-title national pageant, two earned their titles by competing in a 2025 national pageant, and one was appointed.
This edition features the return of Malta which last competed in 2016; Kenya in 2020; Portugal and Sri Lanka in 2022; and Hong Kong in 2023.
