Mohammad Ali Modarres Khiabani

[1][2][3] Mirza Mohammad Ali Modarres Khiabani was born in 1878 in Tabriz, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.

He studied Ijtihad courses and Islamic principles in the school of Mirza Abolhassan Angji.

[6][7][8][9] Also, scholars such as Hibatuddin Shahrestani, Agha Bozorg Tehrani, and Muhsin al-Hakim allowed him to lecture and teach.

[11][12] He also trained many students, the most famous of whom are Mohammad Khiabani, Mehdi Mohaghegh and Ahmad Mahdavi Damghani.

[5][4][13][14] Mohammad Ali Modarres Khiabani died on 5 April 1954 at the age of 76 in Tabriz, after which his body was transferred to Qom and buried in Sheikhan Cemetery.
