She formerly served as the chairman of surgical oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Morrow graduated with a BS degree from Pennsylvania State University, received her MD degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1976, served her general surgery residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont and completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1983.
In 1988 Morrow became an associate professor of surgery at the University of Chicago and also director of the multidisciplinary breast cancer team.
In 1993 she joined the faculty at Northwestern University as Professor of Surgery and director of the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast Center.
