Monterrey Mexico Temple

Due to local resistance to the original site chosen, ground was not broken for five years following the announcement of the temple.

Although the church won a three-year legal suit, officials decided to relocate the structure to appease neighbors of the original site.

The new temple site is located in the Huajuco zone of Monterrey along the National Highway.

In 2020, like all others in the church, the Monterrey Mexico Temple was closed for a time in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
