Morgan, Utah

It is named after Jedediah Morgan Grant, a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who served as an apostle and as a member of the LDS First Presidency under Brigham Young in the mid-1850s.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 2,635 people, 789 households, and 665 families residing in the city.

15.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2), all land.

It has a humid continental climate with warm summers (Köppen Dfb).
