Mount Conrad (Canada)

Mount Conrad is a 3,279-metre (10,758-foot) mountain summit in British Columbia, Canada.

[1] Mount Conrad is more notable for its steep rise above local terrain than for its absolute elevation as topographic relief is significant with the summit rising 1,900 meters (6,233 ft) above Giegerich Creek in 5 km (3.1 mi).

The mountain's toponym was published in "A Climber's Guide to the Interior Ranges of British Columbia" by J.M.

Thorington in 1947,[7] and it was officially adopted on November 15, 1962, by the Geographical Names Board of Canada.

This climate supports the Conrad Icefield covering the peak's northern slope.
