Napoca (spider)

Napoca is a genus of jumping spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1901.

[2] As of July 2019[update] it contains only two species, found only in Israel and Spain: N. constanzeae and N.

[1] It is one of seven genera comprising the Harmochireae clade within the Dendryphantinae subfamily.

[3] It can be distinguished from similar genera such as Bianor and Sibianor by its sclerotized, bean-shaped abdomen, which overhangs the carapace.
