Naruto Station

[4] The station consists of an island platform serving two dead-headed tracks.

The station building houses a waiting room and is staffed.

Access to the island platform is by means of a level crossing.

[2][5][3][6] Naruto Station was opened as Muya Station (撫養駅) by the privately run Awa Electric Railway (later the Awa Railway) on 18 January 1928 by extending the track from the previous terminus, which was also named Muya.

On 1 April 1987, with the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR), the successor of JGR, the station came under the control of JR Shikoku.
