Nashville is a town in Nash County, North Carolina, United States.
It is part of the Rocky Mount, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area.
[6] The town was founded in 1780, and is named for Francis Nash, an officer of the North Carolina militia who died in the American Revolutionary War.

The Nashville Blooming Festival was founded in 1997, and features food, music, vendors, a parade, and a carnival.
