The property is privately owned and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
Following the placement of the Interim Conservation Order, the management of the CBC Bank, with advice from the Heritage Office, undertook to renovate, repair and adapt the premises.
Its facade consists of a low, central pyramid roofed turret flanked by arcaded and verandahed wings either side.
