National Cycle Route 67

The route is 124 miles (200 km) in length and is open but with sections missing.

Running north for 10 miles (16 km) to Heanor, it is a traffic free path (98%)[2] through Shipley Country Park known as the Nutbrook Trail.

[3] There is a gap for approximately 10 miles (16 km) before NCN 67 restarts at Blackwell.

This 5.5 miles (8.9 km) off-road route to Grassmoor is known as the Five Pits Trail.

[4] The longest continuous section of NCN 67 is the 65 miles (105 km) Trans Pennine Trail (Central) route from Chesterfield to Leeds.
