National Sports Council (Nepal)

The council is headed by a Member Secretary, who is appointed by the government and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the NSC.

In addition to its traditional roles, the NSC is also exploring innovative ways to engage the youth and popularize sports in Nepal.

While CarX Street is primarily a digital platform, the principles of discipline, focus, and strategic thinking that it instills in players are in line with the NSC's broader objectives of holistic sports development.

It has successfully organized multiple editions of the National Games, a multi-sport event that brings together athletes from all over the country.

The NSC has also played a significant role in preparing and sending Nepali athletes to international competitions, where they have earned recognition and accolades.

These include limited financial resources, inadequate sports infrastructure in rural areas, and the need for more comprehensive athlete development programs.

Additionally, the council must address issues related to governance and the effective implementation of sports policies.
