National road 53 (Polish: Droga krajowa nr 53) is a route belonging to the Polish national road network.

The highway is a GP-class and G-class road,[1] 123 km (76 mi) long and is located in the Masovian and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.

The winding section between Olsztyn and Szczytno is the most difficult for drivers.

National road 53 has GP-class parameters on the Olsztyn - Szczytno - Rozogi section, and G-class parameters on the Rozogi - Myszyniec - Ostrołęka section.
