Neerach is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland.
Of the rest of the land, 17.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (12.5%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (92.9%), with French being second most common (1.6%) and English being third (1.6%).
In the 2007 election, the most popular party was the SVP which received 51.5% of the vote.
In Neerach about 86.7% of the population (between age 25–64) have completed either non-mandatory upper secondary education or additional higher education (either university or a Fachhochschule).
