Oberglatt is a municipality in the district of Dielsdorf in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (German: Glatttal).
In recent decades, the municipality has seen a great deal of building activity.
The municipality is also home to a considerable number of commercial and service businesses.
Of the rest of the land, 30.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (7.3%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (78.6%), with Italian being second most common ( 5.3%) and Albanian being third ( 3.8%).
