The racial makeup of the township was 94.96% White, 0.43% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.54% from other races, and 3.60% from two or more races.
18.70% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.90% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
