Nijbroek is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland.
It is located in the municipality of Voorst, about 12 km northeast of Apeldoorn.
Nijbroek was a separate municipality until 1818, when it was merged with Voorst.
[4] In 1328, Reginald II, Duke of Guelders ordered the cultivation and poldering of the area.
It is named after Frans van Apeldoorn who became the proprietor in 1658 and turned it into a castle.
