On June 7 1994 An Indian Army expedition led by Brigadier Pushkar Chand successfully climbed Nilgiri Parbat when Lance Naik A. Arunagiri, Havildar S. Kumar, Sepoy Dev Lal and Havildar Major Satish reached the summit.
