Nizamabad South is an administrative division located in the revenue division[1] and city of Nizamabad under Nizamabad Urban Constituency.

It is one of the 27 mandals within Nizamabad District in the Indian state of Telangana.

[2] On 11 October 2016, the government of Telangana reorganized the districts and mandals of the state.

[4] Out of the 60 municipal wards in the city 25 wards are administered under Nizamabad South, the rest of the wards are in Nizamabad North.
