[2] Born in the province of Mpumalanga,[3] Sibanyoni began playing in 2012 and his idol was Tim Duncan.

[4] He played with the Egoli Magic and won the 2021 BNL championship with them while also winning the league's MVP award.

[3] He posted 15 pointns, 18 rebounds and 7 blocks in the championship game against the Tshwane Suns.

[5] Sibanyoni joined the Cape Town Tigers in 2020 for the 2021 BAL qualification games, however, he was not selected for the main tournament.
