Nonant-le-Pin

Nonant-le-Pin (French pronunciation: [nɔnɑ̃ lə pɛ̃] ⓘ) is a former commune in the Orne department in north-western France.

[2] The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, La Butte,La Reboursière, La Chauvinière, Les Terres Noires,Les Mandrettes and Nonant-le-Pin.

[3] The Commune is one of 30 communes that make up the Natura 2000 protected area of Bocages et vergers du sud Pays d'Auge.

[4] Nonant-le-Pin along with another 70 communes is part of a 20,593 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Haute vallée de l'Orne et affluents.

[5] Nonant-le-Pin has 2 rivers that run through it, the Dieuge and the Ure.
