Norman P. Neureiter (born January 24, 1932[1]) is an American scientist, technology adviser, and expert on science diplomacy.
He then worked abroad for several years, establishing research collaborations between the United States and foreign countries.
[2] In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Neureiter was an adviser to the White House Office of Science and Technology.
"[3] He also won the 2008 Public Welfare Medal, which the National Academy of Sciences refers to as its most prestigious award.
[4] In 2010, he was selected to receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star, by the Japanese government.
