North DeLand is a census-designated place (CDP) in Volusia County, Florida, United States.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 1,327 people, 532 households, and 347 families residing in the CDP.
There were 532 households, out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.0% were married couples living together, 16.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.6% were non-families.
26.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
