North Star Township, Michigan

[6] U.S. Route 127 runs south–north near the center of the township to the city of Ithaca.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 996 people, 369 households, and 290 families residing in the township.

There were 395 housing units at an average density of 11.4 per square mile (4.4/km2).

There were 369 households, out of which 29.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.2% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.4% were non-families.
