Northop Hall

Northop Hall (Welsh: Neuadd Llaneurgain) is a village and community near Connah's Quay in Flintshire, Wales.

Located to the east of Northop, near the A55 North Wales Expressway, the village is largely residential in character.

The hall that gives the village its name is a 13th-century manor house which is located in close proximity to Smithy Lane and the Mold to Connah's Quay road.

It was occupied by local aristocracy including the Evans family, ancestors of author George Eliot.

The original Northop Hall is now a private house and not to be confused with Northop Hall Country House Hotel which is Victorian and located elsewhere in the village.
