Athletic teams are nicknamed the Indians and the school colors are red, white, and gray.

Northwest students complete a general education requirement of 20 credit hours, in preparation for collegiate studies.

[8] In that time span, the team won NBC championships outright in 2003 and 2007, while earning a co-championship with Alliance in 2006.

[9] In 2004, the team won the Region 11 championship and made it to the Division III Final Four in the state of Ohio.

[12] The Northwest High School boys' soccer team earned eight NBC league titles in ten seasons spanning 1993–2002, winning in 2002, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1994 and 1993.
