Ōji (王寺町, Ōji-chō) is a town located in Kitakatsuragi District, Nara Prefecture, Japan.
Ōji has a mayor-council form of government with a directly elected mayor and a unicameral town council of 12 members.
Ōji, collectively with the other municipalities in Kitakatsuragi district contributes three members to the Nara Prefectural Assembly.
In terms of national politics, the town is part of the Nara 2nd district of the lower house of the Diet of Japan.
Ōji is a regional commercial center and is largely a commuter town for the greater Osaka metropolis.
