Okankolo Constituency

Settlements in this constituency include Onkumbula, Omeyantalala, Omakango, Omunduta, Omhuuda, and Omutwewomedi.

[3] Okankolo constituency is traditionally a stronghold of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO) party.

In the 2004 regional election SWAPO candidate Joseph Imbili received 4,825 of the 4,850 votes cast.

[5] The SWAPO candidate also won the 2020 regional election.

Hans Nambondi received 2,961 votes, well ahead of Wilhelm Thomas of the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC), an opposition party formed in August 2020, with 671 votes.
