Olbramovice (Znojmo District)

Olbramovice (German: Wolframitz) is a market town in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

It lies mostly in a flat agricultural landscape in the Dyje–Svratka Valley, only the northwestern part of the municipal territory extends into the Bobrava Highlands.

The first written mention of Olbramovice is from 1063, when the village was listed as a property of the Olomouc bishopric.

In the western part of the municipal territory is a stone quarry, owned by Heidelberg Materials.

[5] The railway line Brno–Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou passes through the municipal territory, but there is no train station.
