Orlando Plagata

[3] Plagata guided the Philippines women's national football team at the 1985 Southeast Asian Games which finished third but the women's tournament of the regional games was contested by only three teams.

[4] In 1991, he led the Philippines under-23 football team at the Asian qualifiers for the 1992 Summer Olympics.

[5] In April 2004, Plagata was given one of the Longevity Awards for being involved in football as a player and coach for 55 years by that time.

By the same year, he was coaching the men's varsity football team of the Far Eastern University (FEU).

Plagata was diabetic and an autopsy revealed he died due to massive cerebral hemorrhage.
