The school's student body was to originate from Tontitown, Bentonville, Cave Springs, Fayetteville, Rogers, Springdale, and Subiaco.
Originally the school used six classrooms in the Father Bandini Education Center on a temporary basis.

While the reasons were not explicitly made clear, Robbie Estes, then a board member was appointed President of Ozark Catholic, potentially indicating some sort of motivation.
Ozark Catholic Academy has strong track,[6] cross country,[7] and competitive dance[8] programs with multiple state titles in each sport through the Arkansas Activities Association.
