Padawan, Sarawak

Padawan[1] is a sub-district of Kuching District, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Chinese, Iban, and Malay are majority ethnics that lived in Batu Kawa area.

The population in Batu Kawa will getting higher due to rapid developments, great strategic location, and very sufficient infrastructures in that area.

Meanwhile Kota Padawan and Semadang are mostly lived by several Bidayuh community, it is because due to their culture and their tradition matter.

Most land transportation are taxis, buses, mini van (known locally as 'Van Sapu') which still popular among the region.
