Shimpoli (formerly known as Pahadi Eksar) is an elevated metro station on the North-South corridor of the Yellow Line 2A of Mumbai Metro in Mumbai, India.
This station is owned by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), and was inaugurated on 2 April 2022.
[1][2] J Kumar Infraprojects was awarded the contract to construct the station in June 2016.
The MMRDA renamed the station as Shimpoli on 10 April 2023 due to public demand.
[6] Shimpoli was opened to the public on 2 April 2022, along with the first phase of Line 2A.
