Palmyra is a second-class township in Wayne County, Pennsylvania.
The township's population was 1,339 at the time of the 2010 United States Census.
The southwestern part of Palmyra Township (Wayne County) was separately incorporated in 1850 as Paupack Township, located along the northern banks of Lake Wallenpaupack.
As of the census of 2010, there were 1,339 people, 551 households, and 381 families residing in the township.
26.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
