Patrick Mason was an American college baseball coach and former catcher.

Mason was reunited with Hughes at Virginia Tech in 2011, earning the associate head coach position in 2012.

Following Hughes' departure for Oklahoma following the Hokies' first-ever selection as a regional host in 2013, Mason was promoted to head coach.
