Patambuco District is one of ten districts of the Sandia Province in Peru.
[1] One of the highest elevations of the district is Q'alawaña at 5,325 m (17,470 ft).

Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (89.65%) learnt to speak in childhood, 9.77% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).
