Paul S. Bales is an American filmmaker,[1] who has been the chief operating officer at The Asylum since 2006.

Working in the low-budget film industry, Bales is most known for being a production executive and producer for The Asylum, a studio specializing in mockbusters.

He also directed Legion of the Dead, an early hit for the studio, in addition to writing or co-writing ten films.
