Pearland Independent School District

Larry Berger was named the district's 11th superintendent in March 2022, after an internal search following the retirement of Dr. John P. Kelly.

The original high school building and elementary campus still stand on Grand Boulevard in the heart of Pearland.

In 2006, Pearland ISD began using the International Baccalaureate curriculum guidelines in their elementary and middle school campuses.

[5] During the 2015–2016 term, 6,000 students and parents signed a petition which successfully relaxed the Pearland dress code.
