Perth Playhouse

The Perth Playhouse was designed by the architect Alexander Cattanach Jr. and constructed in 1933.

It is notable for its distinctive Art Deco style, typical of the period.

[2] Originally owned by Caledonian Associated Cinemas, it was bought by G1 Group in 2013.

As of 2018[update], the building has seven screening rooms of differing sizes and capacity.

After being purchased by G1 Group, the cinema received extensive investment.
