Peter F. Kilmartin (born 1962) was the 73rd Attorney General of Rhode Island.
Kilmartin is also a retired police captain and a former member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.
Kilmartin attended William E. Tolman High School in Pawtucket and graduated in 1980.
Peter Kilmartin was first elected as a state representative on November 6, 1990, into the 80th district.
[4] Kilmartin announced he would not seek an eleventh term in the House of Representatives at the end of the 2010 session, and on February 23, 2010, he announced his intention to run for the office of Attorney General of Rhode Island.
