Phebalium speciosum is a species of shrub that is endemic to a restricted area of New South Wales.
Phebalium speciosum is a shrub that typically grows to a height of 3 m (9.8 ft) and has branchlets covered with rust-coloured scales.
The sepals are joined at the base to form a cup-shaped calyx 4–5 mm (0.16–0.20 in) long and wide, covered with silvery or rust-coloured scales.
[2][3][4][5] Phebalium speciosum was first formally described in 2013 by Ian Telford in the journal Telopea from specimens collected near Urbenville in 2007.
[4][6] This phebalium grows in open forest or heath at the base of volcanic outcrops and on top of cliffs.
