Phoenicus (Messenia)

Phoenicus or Phoinikous (Ancient Greek: Φοινικοῦς), or Phoenicus Portus or Limne Phoinikous (Φοινικοῦς λιμήν),[1] was a harbour town of ancient Messenia west of the promontory Acritas, and in front of the islands of Oenussae.
