Phrontis karinae is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Nassariidae, the Nassa mud snails or dog whelks.

This species occurs in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, the Lesser Antilles and the Greater Antilles; in the Atlantic Ocean off Brazil.
