The new building featured a wide variety of new amenities including a brand new field house, auxiliary gym, and brand-new weight room.

The Platte County High School football team at one point amassed 52 uninterrupted wins in the 2000 (14–0), 2001 (14–0), 2002 (14–0), and 2003 (10–1) seasons.
