Pleroma granulosum, synonym Tibouchina granulosa,[1] is a species of tree in the family Melastomataceae.
[3] This tree can grow up to 10 metres in height and needs good drainage acidic soil in order to flowering.
It will grow in full to partial sun, needs average water, and below freezing temperatures should be avoided.
[4] This tree can grows in USDA hardiness zone 10b to 11 or in any areas that do not exude too much cold.
Although the plant can perform a quick recovery, it might not bloom, since it puts most of its energy into producing new stems and leaves.
