[9] In 2012, along with the group Voina, AES+F, Oleg Kulik and others, Kanis took part in the Russian Renaissance exhibition at Brot Kunsthalle, Vienna.

But the distance between scene and audience disappears when the suspicion arises that this contrived image of the world is the nightmare of social reality.
