Polyphaenis sericata

Polyphaenis sericata, the Guernsey underwing, is a moth of the family Noctuidae.

The species was first described by Eugenius Johann Christoph Esper in 1787.

The larvae feed on various herbaceous plants, including privet, honeysuckle and dogwood.
