Portugal participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which took place on 24 November 2019 in Gliwice, Poland.

The Portuguese broadcaster Radio and Television of Portugal (RTP) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest.

Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP), a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), was responsible for the selection process of participants.

This was a junior version of Festival da Canção, the national music competition organized by broadcaster RTP to choose the Portuguese entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.

The second phase of the online voting took place during the live show and began right after the last performance and was open for 15 minutes.
